MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Wimbledon Fancies Fall By Wayside. DESCRIPTION: Queen Mary, Mr and Mrs Attlee and the Lord Mayor of London were among the many distinguished visitors gathered at Wimbledon. They saw many surprise results - Amando Vieira of Brazil beat Ham Richardson, Richard Savitt beat his fellow American (seeded number three) Art Larsen and Frank Sedgman (number one seed) beaten by 22 year old American Herbert Flam.
