MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Stars at Film Festival. (British Film Festival). DESCRIPTION: This year’s British Film Festival, staged at a London Theatre, was once again a popular event. Reminders to all about to vote included extracts from Odette, Morning Departure and The Woman in Question with a galaxy of stars and other films to choose from. Richard Todd paid tribute to studio technicians and cinema employees. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. CU statuette - Oscar. Foyer scenes. People peer through glass door. Glynis Johns being welcomed. SCU Anna Neagle & Guyri Wagner doing an extract from Odette. John Mills, Richard Attenborough & Nigel Patrick & Andrew Crawford, do an extract from Morning Departure. SCU Jean Kent & Susan Shaw in The Woman in Question. Mitchell interviewed by Hilton Craig, asked how many films he makes during the year, Naunton Wayne interrupts. GV stars on stage. Finish on speech by Richard Todd - SCU. Hand place vote in ballot box.
