MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Marines Beat the Retreat. DESCRIPTION: A fanfare by the Memorial Silver Trumpets of the Royal Naval School of Music heralded the ancient ceremony of Beating Retreat. This was performed by the Massed Bands of the Royal Marines on Horse Guards Parade, London. SHOTLIST: KS Royal Marines march past camera. Various angle shots (all angles) of massed bands.
