Summary

Reinforcing India against Japanese threat. Commonwealth and Norwegian troops, tanks, guns, bombs etc landed. British troops marching. For the moment (says the commentary) politics receded into the background, as on issue of independence, fighting Indians know that they can rely on Britain for "Justice, wisdom and generosity".
