Summary
Alamein is now a peaceful wayside station, but the twisted tracks and the signs of bombing are still there twelve months later. Shots of burned out wagons. The road to Quatara - now and then. Sand drifts over the scars of war. The spot where the first break-through was made by Allies. The minefields remain.
