Summary

Convoy of ships, bearing arms and tanks etc. for Russia, traverses dangerous route off Norway. Enemy attack on convoy, bombers, U-boats etc. Shots of the ensuing battle. The rescue by the convoy of survivors from another cruiser, which pulls alongside. American Eagle Squadrons take their leave of Britain as they transfer to the US Air Force. Port Moresby, Papua: shows how the Australians are kept supplied by Papuan people. Supplies taken by sea, in small coastal craft, through jungle from Port Moresby to the Owen Stanley Mountains of New Guinea. Papuans seen crossing ravine.
