At Daily Mail Ideal Home Exhibition 1947. Tilt down model of Eros, crowds at exhibition. Queen Mary with Lord Rothermere surveys the exhibition. Enters house. Several interiors of house, sitting and drawing rooms, kitchens etc. At Wembley, night shots - speedway riders parade before start of races. Hardy gives Laurel a flower from bowl. Lord Rothermere addresses audience. Margaret Lockwood thanks everybody for award. Lord Rothermere again speaks. James Mason’s recorded voice speaks, cut-ins speaker. Lady Rothermere presents film award to Margaret Lockwood.
