SCU & CU STILLS Lord Northcliffe. Several shots some early planes, taking off and making short flights. Blenheim bomber takes off, several aerial shots of same in flight. At Daily Mail Ideal Home Exhibition 1947. Tilt down model of Eros, crowds at exhibition. Queen Mary with Lord Rothermere surveys the exhibition. Enters house. Several interiors of house, sitting and drawing rooms, kitchens etc. At Wembley, night shots - speedway riders parade before start of races. Several shots of races in progress, in which Jack Parker and Bill Kitchin race. At Malden crowds in park at Sunday Pictorial Film Party. Crowds in parks, children on roundabouts. Hardy gives Laurel a flower from bowl. Lord Rothermere addresses audience. Margaret Lockwood thanks everybody for award. Lord Rothermere again speaks. James Mason’s recorded voice speaks, cut-ins speaker. Lady Rothermere presents film award to Margaret Lockwood.
