MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bma Plebiscite Causes Stir. DESCRIPTION: The British Medical Association had quite a task in sending out their plebiscite to fifty-six thousand doctors, asking whether they approve of Mr Bevan’s scheme. SHOTLIST: KS People in office placing voting papers. People seated at tables very active placing papers in envelopes. Men collect same. Another sticking down envelopes, runs brush along sticky part of envelopes. SCU envelopes addressed aboard, being thrown onto table. Parcels of envelopes being thrown into mail bags. Stack of mail bags. Mail bags being loaded on Royal Mail van. SCU person signing the voting paper. Doctors taking vote to decide whether to enter National Health Scheme.
