MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Durbar in Jaipur. DESCRIPTION: The Festival of Dussehra is marked in Jaipur with a Durbar, where tribute is paid to the Maharaja. SHOTLIST: KS GV inside courtyard of palace, troops paraded also elephants in full dress regalia. Horses, elephants etc. being blessed by the Maharaja of Jaipur. SCU Maharaja seated on throne. Maharaja with his guard walks through palace. Cut-ins close ups of guards, escort etc. Noblemen and landowners offer money to the Mahararja. Field Marshal Claude Auchinleck alights from plane, Maharaja greets him, the latter is wearing uniform of Life Guards. Various shots of Trooping the Colour. Maharaja on horseback watches parade. Shot of actual trooping. Cut-in of Auchinleck watching. Marchpast of Indian troops. MS Maharanee taking salute of troops marching past. GV Indian troops marching past into camera to finish.
