Allied bombing has destroyed many German towns here we see Goch and Wittenberg. The heavy bombers continue to attack many targets in Germany. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Fortresses in formation, semi-silhouette. Aerials over flooded district around Cleve. Aerials of ruined town of Cleve. On ground. Various shots of ruins - good. Flying Forts in flight - Markers going down. Bombs falling from planes. Aerials of explosions on town of Wittenberg. Smoke trails of markers. Aerials of the bombing of marshal yards. Terrific explosions at Luneburg. Aerials of huge formations of bombers - Lancasters fly in formation. Explosions on Benzole plants, railways, viaducts etc., Bostons and Mitchells in formation. Bostons bombing through clouds. Typhoons peel off to attack - fire rockets - hitting targets. Fighters in action strafing airfields. Various shots of burning planes on ground. CU Tempest.
