Story

Summary
[1ST SUBTITLE]: "How he knocked out Grundhoven, Heavy-weight Champion of Belgium. Exclusively released to the Topical Budget. These pictures show in unique fashion Carpentier’s cool and ruthless methods. Specially described for the Topical Budget by ‘Long Melford’." [2ND SUBTITLE]: "THE BEAU BRUMMEL OF THE RING INTRODUCED TO HIS OPPONENT L’Arbiter (referee) gives the men their final instructions". [3RD SUBTITLE]: "ROUND 1. IN THE NET OF DESTINY Carpentier, like remorseless fate, dominates the fight. A surprise punch by the Belgian; but Carpentier, swift as lightning, floors his rival with deadly right-handers. Grundhoven is no match for the Frenchman". [4TH SUBTITLE]: "ROUND 2. CARPENTIER’S COUP DE GRACE Grundhoven comes up smiling, but soon succumbs to the impetuous attack of the great French fighter. The same right-hand blow that beat Beckett finishes the fight for Grundhoven". [5TH SUBTITLE]: "THE SMILE OF VICTORY Carpentier, without a mark of conflict, receives the applause of his admirers. The faithful Descamps, his manager, is in the picture as usual".
