DESCRIPTION: The King is to present a Sword of Honour to Stalingrad in recognition of it’s great struggle. 83 year old Tom Beasley is the swordsmith, Jack Mappin grinds the blade and Albert Weston is the polisher. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Library material, various elevated scenes of German prisoners marching through Stalingrad. Various scenes of Stalingrad. Interior shot of Tom Beasley forging sword, GS of Beasley being asked how long he worked with his firm etc., Beasley replies.
