MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Red Cross Garden Party. DESCRIPTION: Lady Louis Mountbatten paid tribute to the work of the Red Cross and St John nurses at a Garden Party at St James’s Palace. The Duchess of Gloucester also attended the event. SHOTLIST: Lady Louis Mountbatten speaks (also Lord Luke but cuts only) and the Duchess of Gloucester is shown round by Lord Luke. Lord Iliffe is also present and ambulances are on show including one which was recently damaged in a London Blitz.
