Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Convoy Shelled. DESCRIPTION: A convoy passing through the Straits of Dover comes under fire from the French coast. The Navy protected the ships at sea and Hurricanes repelling the aerial attack. SHOTLIST: The convoy steams by with shells bursting all around. Destroyers lay a smoke screen and some of the merchantmen assist and smoke flares are dropped on the water. The shelling fails and then German planes appear. Bombs drop but a formation of "Hurricanes" drives them off.
