Summary
On the third anniversary of this turning point of the war, Field Marshal Montgomery came to Pathe Studios to give this personal message. (The accompanying music is from Albert Arlen’s "El Alamein Concerto".) EXCLUSIVE presentation to commemorate the El Alamein offensive. Field Marshal Montgomery’s message is backgrounded with spectacular pictures filmed by Terry Ashwood and Army Film Unit cameraman in the desert. Studio shots show "Monty" and Ashwood looking through a roll of film. Three years previously they were in conversation at the Field Marshal’s Headquarters in the desert.
