Summary
British troops through jungle and streams during drive on Pinwe, Mandalay. They are led by a piper. In the Chin Hills Mitchell bombers hit at Jap troop concentrations on Kennedy Peak. On the Western Front Marauders of the 9th Air Force on raid over German territory. One plane is hit and bursts into flames, losing an engine as it crashes to earth. Reports from Belgium tell of icy conditions which are making things almost impossible for tanks and vehicles travelling by road.
