Stressed to the Limit

Synopsis
The film examines the physiological response of the body when under stress. Why do we have a ‘flight or fight’ response? The role of cortisol is discussed along with the release of autonomic hormones. Interaction between the nervous and immunity systems results in far reaching effects that can last for years and have real impact on our health. Understanding stress and how we deal with it can be crucial to how we manage it.
