Synopsis

A video-based training pack for job seekers. The video shows a dramatised role play with help and advice from an expert. Two candidates are being interviewed for jobs. One is at the early stage of her working career, with limited experience and having faced a period of unemployment. The other is older with varied experience seeking a step-up the career ladder. They reply to a range of questions and their answers are analysed as the interview progresses. The audiocassette covers similar material, has additional comments from employers and interviewers showing what they expect from candidates and the criteria they use when making their decisions.
