Begins with an introduction to the aims of the Bauhaus and its stage workshop, the works of Oskar Schlemmer and the ideas behind his Bauhaus dances, followed by a reconstruction by Günter Barghaus of Oskar Schlemmer’s gesture dance, based on choreographic sketches, stage and costume designs, contemporary photographs and some written accounts by Schlemmer and his students.
