Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Prison Fire. DESCRIPTION: At Nashville, Tennessee, convicts had set the prison on fire to demonstrate sympathy for 20 men on a hunger strike during solitary confinement. A guard fell to his death and a woman prisoner committed suicide, all the others escaped the flames. SHOTLIST: Various scenes of the fire started by rioting prisoners.
