Description

Trades Union Congress General Council member, Frank Chalmers explains why he was absent from a vote on the Government’s pay policy. The TUC rejected the policy by a narrow margin but Chalmers says he would have supported the Government. He adds that he was surprised at the result of the vote, but insists that the Government always has the right to talk to the TUC. Male interviewer not identified.
