General
"Rome, as realised by Hall and designer John Gunter, is a place of imposing symbols and covert superstition, where plotters skulk beneath triumphalist architecture. The conspirators, led by Julian Glover’s superbly controlled Cassius, are all in red togas, while Caesar and Antony wear flowing, bloodstainable white." Nick Curtis, Evening Standard (London) 24 May 1995.

Children in the production were played by Edward Byass, Lydia Day, Alisa Duguid, Sophia Hunt, Naomi Shearing and Damian Storey.
