Summary
In Moscow, Mr Molotov and Sir Stafford Cripps representing their respective Governments sign the historic agreement of mutual assistance in the war against Germany. By the terms of the agreement neither party will conclude a separate peace, the agreement comes into force immediately and needs no ratification.
