Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Chelsea Arts Ball, 1938. DESCRIPTION: The Chelsea Arts Ball. SHOTLIST: Revellers, wearing fancy dress, throng the Albert Hall for the 1938 Chelsea Arts Ball. Jack Harris leads the band as the merry-makers dance the "Chestnut Tree". The usual features are the descent of balloons and the parade of decorated floats. Songs - "I’m gonna lock my heart and throw away the key", "Under the Spreading Chestnut Tree".
