Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Firework Day in England. DESCRIPTION: November Fifth celebrated in traditional style. SHOTLIST: At Bridgwater, in Somerset, precautions are taken to protect property during the firework celebrations. Wet clothes are hung over buildings and in the evening the ceremonial carnival is held with a firework and float parade through the streets. At the White City there is a big display and one man makes a daring jump in flames into a tank of water. Movietone’s Three Bright Schoolboys have a display of their own.
