Summary
COI synopsis: This programme looks at the work of the unsung heroes, who, through their skill, have already made flying the most popular form of transport around the world - a tribute to their achievement in air safety. Throughout industry, metal fatigue can cause sudden, unexpected failure of vital components. In the world of aviation it can spell disaster. But fill essential parts, like bolts, with a red dye - and from the moment a crack develops they’ll begin to bleed - warning of imminent disaster.
