- Summary
- Rhodesian Spotlight synopsis: Mr. Barry Epstein of Mufulira has a fine 3,000 piece coin collection.
Rhodesian Spotlight Commentary - When Barry Epstein of Mufulira gets out his coin collection, Mrs. Epstein tries to catch up with her reading. But soon Barry will say "Come over here and look at this" and being a dutiful wife, Mrs. Epstein goes over and looks. And there is much that is well worth looking at. The oldest item is a Phoenician Coin, while another was currency in the Channel Islands in Julius Caesar’s time. Some old coins are intrinsically more valuable. Compare this old Golden Sovereign with the modern version in Mrs. Epstein’s broach. Among the three thousand coins is a George VI Coronation place highly recommended for cricket captains. It’s just one of many strange oddities in a remarkable collection. - Keywords
