Summary
COI synopsis: The house in the City of Bath where the Emperor, Haile Selassie, lived during his period of exile in Britain has been converted into an old people’s home. So, too, has the ancient Monastery of Debre Libanos in Ethiopia which is, appropriately enough, run by the Haile Selassie I Foundation. In Addis Ababa the Foundation cares for the welfare of the young as well, at its modern school for the blind at Sabatta. On the day that "London Line" visited Sabatta the Emperor, too, paid one of his frequent informal visits. A report from Israel Wamala.
