Career

Chris Wilden was a soundman on London Line (1964-1978), a magazine programme produced by the Central Office of Information [qv]. His earliest credits, such as ‘ROYAL NAVY SUBMARINE’, London Line (Colour series 2) No.57, are for the colour versions which were shown in countries such as the United States, Canada and Australia. He also worked on issues of the ‘New Commonwealth’ version of the programme which was shown primarily in Africa and the Caribbean. He is credited in one of the earlier issues, ‘Anti Locust Research’ London Line No.213, released in 1968. He was also a regular soundman on the COI science magazine series Living Tomorrow (1969-1983) and Tomorrow Today (1969-1974). He worked on the first edition of both series ‘HOLIDAY SKIMMER’ Living Tomorrow and Tomorrow Today No.1, released in 1969.
