Career
Dick Ewen was a cameraman on the ‘New Commonwealth’ versions of London Line (1964-1978), a magazine programme produced by the Central Office of Information [qv] for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office [qv]. These editions were shown in countries which had recently joined the Commonwealth, primarily in Africa and the Caribbean. He worked on on earlier issues, such as ‘Oceanology - Cammell Laird’ London Line No.230, released in 1969. He was also a regular cameraman on the COI science magazine series Living Tomorrow (1969-1983) and Tomorrow Today (1969-1974). He worked on the first edition of both series ‘HOLIDAY SKIMMER’ Living Tomorrow and Tomorrow Today No.1, released in 1969.
