Summary
BFI Summary - Visiting a washing-machine factory
NFA synopsis: Looking at the manufacture and usefulness of washing machines. The item opens with a scene in a laundrette, with a man grumbling about having to do the laundry because his wife is unwell. The film then moves on to look at the manufacture of Bendix washing machines at the Fisher & Ludlow works near Birmingham, with shots of pressing the tubs and enammelling the machines.
