NFA synopsis: August 1953 - Test drilling finds iron ore at Redbourn, Scunthorpe and Blisworth, Northants. sites. A giant excavator is sent in from Irthlingborough, the second largest in the world. A 3000 acre site is involved, and there are shots of machinery being changed at the Redbourn works, Scunthorpe.
