Summary
NoS Summary - Picturesque shots of a group of Dalmatians and their mistress.
British Pathe synopsis: "filmed at Heckfield Hants". "Prize Dalmatians (known to so many as plum-pudding dogs!)" M/S of two kennel maids and a man in overalls walk through sunny fields with a group of Dalmatians. Various shots of the dogs. "At one time, it was thought the advent of the car would extinguish the Dalmatian, but these fine coach dogs are still popular." M/S of one of the women with dogs crowded around her. Dissolve to C/U of head of Dalmatian. "Incidentally, this breed is supposed to have originated in Dalmatia - hence the name. They are very faithful and obedient companions." Country scene - thatched cottage beside a country lane. Woman rides a horse with the dogs running alongside. Various shots of horsewoman and her dogs.
