NoS Summary - Chocolate covered chunks of cactus - a delicacy from Texas!
British Pathe synopsis: "This is a new one on us - from Texas. They sidle into the desert and collect the biggest Cacti visible" M/S of two men standing in the desert amongst some cacti. They use spades to unearth a large cactus. M/S of man rolling a large cactus along the ground. "Then they slice them up for chocolate centres" M/S of man slicing down sides of cactus. C/U of two men beside the cactus as it is sliced in half with the help of a large saw. Chunks are cut off the cactus then a hand propelled slicing machine is used to cut the cactus into slices. C/U of man opening up a small box of sweets. "Out of the strong - and spiky - come forth..." C/U of a square of the cactus plant alongside a chocolate covered version. M/S of a display of various chocolate covered cactus sweets.
