Summary
British Pathe synopsis: Buxton, Derbyshire. "We’ve heard so much about He-men (and He-women) what about real He-dogs for them? Mastiffs, for instance." M/S of man leading five large Bull Mastiffs down the snowy pathway of a town house. The man walks in a snowy field letting the dogs off their leads. "Nice little friends to have with you in the wide open spaces." The man and his dogs walk up a snowy hillside. They walk across a little bridge which spans a small stream in front of a viaduct. "The Chief Prize Winner, Angles Manai, ("Kismet"), weighs 15 stone and will stand up for himself anywhere!" The dog stands on his hind legs with his front paws on his master’s shoulders. The dog is huge! "With a girth of 46 inches, a height of 34 inches and scaling over 200 lbs, he’s a real monster." M/S of the master measuring his champion with a tape measure. C/U of the tape measure. "Real dogs for He-men." Man stands in a snowy field throwing food on the ground for the dogs. Two of the dogs hold the same stick in their mouths. C/U of the two dogs. C/U of one dog - he looks worried.
