British Pathe synopsis: "The hissing electric welder is making a bid to replace the noisy riveting machines." C/U of an electric welder in operation. C/U of a man in a metal welder’s helmet. M/S of the machinery which drives the electric welder. M/S of man crouching down beside a metal post using the electric welder. Low angle shot of two men working on high girders with the electric welders. "Some parts are welded together on the ground." M/S of two men welding girders.
