Summary
NoS synopsis: Filmed in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. "It’s a tough life being a tender quackling - especially when you have to grow fat and fit in about 12 weeks’ time!" C/U of two children (a boy and a girl) surrounded by hundreds of baby ducks or chicks. The boy holds two in his hands, the girl plays with some which she has put into a pram or trolley. C/U of a dozen chicks in a little basket. Shot of lots and lots of chicks running around. "Life on this farm is just one long feed after another - " L/S of a woman feeding ducks from a bucket of food, she throws out seed for the ducklings. More shots of the ducks running all over the place. The little girl chases the ducks. High angle shots of the ducks swimming along in a river. A flock of older ducks run along after the ducklings. "The pity is they must all end the same way!" M/S of group of people plucking the ducks - several dead ducks visible in the foreground.
