British Pathe synopsis: M/S of a group of young people standing at the edge of an outdoor pool (Chiswick Baths) and sitting on diving boards. Various shots of people diving in and swimming through the water. "These Belle of New York" and "Geisha" ladies make another good reason why so many people are anxious to become Cameramen." Girls pose around a fountain which features a lion’s head. Various shots of the girls as they lark around having a good time. High angle shot of the girls doing high kicks in the pool. "After the bathe a spot of exercise... and refreshments." Girls link arms and do high kicks on the side of the pool. We then see the girls doing handstands following through to "crabs". They then do some cartwheels (still in their swimsuits). M/S of the girls all lined up with a man - possibly their director or choreographer. Camera pans across the girls - they are all smiling and laughing. C/U of one of the girls taking off her swim hat. The other girls help her to primp her hair up as it has been squashed. C/U of the girl as she drinks a cup of tea. C/Us of some of the other girls having a cup of tea. "For years and years lots of people have looked longingly at Trafalgar Square as a Bathing establishment - until this charmer came along." M/S of a girl in a swimsuit dancing in one of the Trafalgar Square fountains. She climbs onto the fountain so that she is underneath the stream of water. "It takes a lot to keep Eve away these days, when the water’s cool and inviting." M/Ss of girl dancing in the water. "Anyhow, Aileen Despard was the first to make the fountain extra useful in this way!" L/S of girl in the fountain then closer shot of her kicking the water and splashing.
