Story

Summary
NoS Summary - South African funfair - chorus girl routine, kisses are sold for cash.
British Pathe synopsis: South Africa. High angle shot of a very large crowd of people. They seem to be at a funfair. A group of chorus girl perform a high kick routine on a platform high above the crowd. C/U of the girls as they dance. They wear white dresses and hats. The girls sell tickets at 2/6d upwards. The crowd hold up their money and the girls crouch down and give out tickets. Camera pans across the massive crowd. C/U of a girl shaking a money box. M/S of one of the girls in a dramatic clinch with one of the men. They stand on the stage and we see the crowd smiling in the background. A clown-like figure appears in the midst of the crowd. She has a sandwich board which reads: "Scotch Kisses - Half Price - 1/3." C/U of the woman offering these kisses. She looks a bit bizarre, she wears a tam-o’-shanter and has a curl of hair painted on to the middle of her forehead. Camera pans down to show the sandwich board.
