- Summary
- COI synopsis: Vicki Luke reports on the Kidney Transplant Service, which can instantly match a newly available kidney with a patient not just anywhere in Britain, but in Europe too. The UK transplant service also co-ordinates the movement of the kidney from donor to patient - tracking every stage of its journey as carefully as a satellite. Vicki also looks at the miracle transplant surgery has been to women who not only are cured of a terrible disease, but have been able to have a child.
