Summary
COI synopsis: From satellites to the electronic toothbrush, our everyday lives are dominated by some miracle of science and technology. But there are many people who fear that technology may be getting out of hand and putting man and his planet at risk. Kit Pedler, scientist and writer who gave ‘Doomwatch’ to the English language, is one of those most concerned for the survival of man and his environment. He talks to Michele Brown about the energy crisis and the new responsibility of science to society.
