AI Films

AI Films occasionally provided the camera crew for the ‘New Commonwealth’ versions of London Line, a magazine programme produced by the Central Office of Information [qv] for the Commonwealth Relations Office [qv]. These editions were shown in countries which had recently joined the Commonwealth, primarily in Africa and the Caribbean. Their first credit is for ‘LONDON LINE NEW YEAR PARTY’, London Line No.218 (1969). In the 1970s they also provided the film unit for issues of This Week In Britain, often with Kit West [qv] as the main contact. Early credits for this series include ‘OPEN UNIVERSITY’, This Week In Britain No.713, released in 1972 and ‘SPORT FOR ALL’, This Week In Britain No.738, released 1973.
