Summary
COI synopsis: A British surgeon has traced the causes of infection during surgery which persist despite scrupulous precautions. Finding that these come from dust within the surgery, from the operating teams themselves, and even the patient, the surgeon has invented, and London Line demonstrates, a sterile operating theatre in which the air, the doctors and the patient are completely and safely disinfected. The operating theatre, which is mobile, has cut this form of infection to nil.
