- Summary
- COI synopsis: The reality of scientific advance is a far cry from the man who lept from his bath shouting "Eureka!" It is the culmination of painstaking research and precision testing. How do you mass-produce elegance and style: recreate the expert workmanship beautifully reflected in fine, hand cut crystal goblets? A British firm have done just that. They’ve armed a computer with a cutting tool and translated the craftsman’s art into computer language. Once programmed and supplied with blank glasses, the computer will produce endless exact replicas of the designer’s idea.
