- Summary
- COI synopsis: Science and technology is constantly at work searching for ways to help the farmer and the horticulturist to speed things up and improve output. Hawaiian geese, once almost extinct, are now flourishing in Gloucestershire. Eggs are hatched using broody hens or incubators. And to design better incubators, more closely relating to the most natural incubator, the goose in the wild, researchers have installed a spy in the nest: an electronic egg that broadcasts intimate details of egg life.
