Summary

COI synopsis: Scientists in Cambridge, in their research into human language, have used computer models which create line displays representing the shape of the vocal tract during speech. Their computer model has now been developed to help deaf children learn how to shape their vocal tracts so as to produce clear discernable sounds and overcome their disability.
