Summary

COI synopsis: Digital watches have, until now, always required batteries for their illumination. But now manufacturing techniques have led to thin tubes coasted with phosphor, phosphor which is constantly excited by a radio-active gas. The tubes emit a ghostly glow for as long as twenty years. The figures on the watch, illuminated from behind, can be seen, day or night, without the need for extra batteries.
