- Summary
- COI synopsis: Science is often all about meeting points: the way things react at the interfaces where they come together. This issue looks at a few of the problems that arise at those interfaces - and the solutions that science can offer. For the fisherman long hours at sea are often followed by long hours unloading the catch. Now the whole catch can simply be pumped ashore - without damage to the fish - through skilful design of the important interface where fish and pump blades come together.
