Summary
COI synopsis: Science is often all about meeting points: the way things react at the interfaces where they come together. This issue looks at a few of the problems that arise at those interfaces - and the solutions that science can offer. A study of the meeting point between a tractor driver and his machine - his seat - isn’t as funny as it sounds: for the driver the vibrations can mean spinal deformity. Now a new seat eliminates the particular vibrations which do all the damage.
