Summary
COI synopsis: Science is often all about meeting points: the way things react at the interfaces where they come together. This issue looks at a few of the problems that arise at those interfaces - and the solutions that science can offer. One of life’s most crucial meeting points lies within our own bodies; at the interface between blood and artery the blood must flow freely. A new technique eavesdrops on the blood with ultrasonic sound to diagnose and pinpoint the position of a blockage.
